Santinho Beach borders on Ponta das Aranhas to the south, on Calhau Miúdo stone, and on the exuberant Morro dos Ingleses to the North. It integrates the North face of Santa Catarina Island and is linked to Praia dos Ingleses through long dunes, originating a beautiful view.
It is a beach of great beauty, of oceanic characteristic and its waves are long and strong, having a lot of water twists. Its sand is white, fine and clean. Primitively this beach used to be exclusive for fishing, in spite of being treacherous and dangerous.
The area contains the largest reserve of rupestral inscriptions of the Southern Brazil and an Outdoor Archaeological Museum is being organized there. Santinho Beach belongs to Ingleses do Rio Vermelho District and is 40km far from Florianópolis downtown, by SC 401 highway. It is 2.200 meters long and its width varies from 10 to 120 meters.
