Lagoinha do Leste Beach is situated on the South East of Santa Catarina Island. It is accessed by boat or through steep trails crossing Morro do Matador. It is a long beach with white sands and firm ground, alternating fresh water, which comes from Rio do Matadeiro, and salt water, which comes from the movements of high and low tides.
It has always been visited by fishermen, but now it attracts many young people and those who practice adventure tourism. Its exuberant contours and the contrasts of the nature comprised by the sea, the river, the lake and the green of the hills that surround it, never disappoints the visitors that manage to get there.
Lagoinha do Leste Beach belongs to Pântano do Sul District. The starting point of the trail that gives access to the beach is on km 27 of SC 406. There are signals along the trail. The beach is 600 meters long and its width varies from 10 to 150 meters.
